Rev. Twagirimana

Rev. Emmanuel Twagirimana is an Evangelist who has travelled around the world preaching the good news of salvation, holiness, forgiveness, peace and reconciliation between men.

Before the 1994 genocide in Rwanda, he was a prominent and prosperous Christian businessman in the city of Kigali where he pioneered a hospital visitation ministry and owned three very successful businesses, one of which was the distributorship of coca cola franchise Bralirwa .

In 1994, in the genocide that occurred in Rwanda, He was badly injured by the shrapnel of a bomb and lacking proper medical care he succumbed to his injuries and died.

Seven days later life returned to his decomposing body and panic among the living injured people set in. Those who had wrapped his corpse confirmed the fact that he had been dead for seven days.

In obedience to the command given to him by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Emmanuel embarked on his mission of telling the world the message of salvation, while still healing from the injuries sustained during the genocide.

He has spoken in many crusades, conferences and
churches in Europe, North and South America, Australia, Africa and Asia. He has ministered privately to world leaders like Nelson Mandela, the Queen of England and many presidents.

Yet while ministering to world leaders he has remained humble and available to minister to the lowly and the simple. His message of the glories of heaven is backed by the demonstration of God’s power through miracles and answered prayers. Jesus had promised to be with him wherever he went and He has, over the last 28 years in ministry.

Many people came to him to hear about his testimony of “seven days in heaven”.

The story about his experience of death and back to life narrated in his book “Seven Days in Heaven” – encourages people to walk in love, joy and holiness.

In 2014 Emmanuel and Isabelle produced a DVD documentary about his story.

His other book “The Root of Bitterness” narrates how to
overcome bitterness and live a victorious life was published in 2019.
